This week in the No Loose Guard house, the theme “Like play, Like play” is a cheeky reminder of how quickly the game is progressing as we hit the halfway mark of the season. But don’t let the playful theme fool you because things are getting serious.
Leadership mode activated
Onyeka, the newly crowned Head of House, wasted no time stepping into her leadership role. Gathering the housemates in the main lounge, she led the charge to dissect this week’s wager brief. Big Brother has tasked the housemates with creating a unique story featuring a superhero and a villain, set in an entirely new world. The characters must possess distinct powers, and their missions must be clearly defined. This is no easy feat, but the housemates were filled with ideas.
With last week’s wager loss still stinging, the housemates are determined to turn the tide under Onyeka’s leadership. Shatoria, who was part of the last pair to hold the HOH title, couldn’t secure a win, marking the third loss of the season. With Onyeka in the HOH seat, will the house secure a much needed wager win this week?
Trouble in paradise?
But the creative juices weren’t the only thing flowing in the house this week. It looks like the recent un-pairing twist is starting to take its toll on our secretive married couple, Kassia and Kellyrae. The duo, who have been keeping their marital status under wraps, were spotted having a low-key argument at the dining table. Kassia was overheard asking Kellyrae if he bit the meat, Kellyrae responded in the affirmative and wanted to know why Kassia was asking him. It went downhill from there because Kassia,”why body dey pepper you?” was met with some sharp words from Kellyrae who kept his voice low during this exchange as Sooj and Victoria were also at the table eating.
Let’s not forget that just recently, Ebuka exposed Kassia and Kellyrae for sneaking kisses around the house, a revelation that left their fellow housemates in shock. Is the pressure of maintaining their secret and the strain of playing solo finally getting to them? Or is this just the beginning of more drama for this ‘bestie’ couple?
As the housemates gear up to present their superhero and villain showdown later this week, we’re all waiting to see if they can finally clinch a win this week. But with the solo journey embarked upon by the housemates, the real un-pairing drama is loading.
