DoubleKay’s marriage secret not a strategy – BBNaija
As Chinwe struggles with isolation in the No Loose Guard house.
In the No Loose Guard house, secrets and strategies often blur the lines, but for DoubleKay, what many believed to be a tactical move was, in fact, a heartfelt decision. The revelation came during Kellyrae’s diary session, where he opened up about the challenges he and his partner, Kassia, have faced by keeping their marriage a secret from the other housemates. Meanwhile, Chinwe struggling with the weight of her recent conflicts, broke down in tears during her personal diary session and here’s what went down.
Kellyrae’s dilemma
In his diary session, Kellyrae revealed that he and Kassia made the deliberate choice to keep their marriage under wraps to avoid being ostracised by the other housemates. He feared that revealing their marital status might lead to isolation, making it difficult to bond with the others. This decision, however, has not been without its complications. Kellyrae admitted to walking on eggshells, careful not to make Kassia jealous by getting too close to their female housemates. In his confession to Biggie, Kellyrae said, “I like Anita and Handi and I just want to shift focus from me and my partner Kassia.”
Despite his best efforts, Kellyrae has found it challenging to convince the other housemates of their marital status. His concerns also extend to his partner’s interactions with Toby Forge, whom he believes has shown interest in more than one housemate. Kellyrae revealed to Biggie that he advised Kassia to vibe with the housemates but not to lead anyone on. Is the pressure getting too much for DoubleKay?
The love doctor’s losing streak
Self-proclaimed love doctor and therapist, Tjay mentioned in his diary session that he has been the go-to person for housemates whose ships are encountering rough waters. However, his own game has been suffering, with neither he nor his friend Ben securing any challenge wins recently. Tjay expressed his disappointment, pleading with Biggie to include more intellectual games, which he believes he would ace.
Tjay also voiced his concerns over Shaun and Zinwe’s lack of seriousness towards this week’s wager, attributing Zinwe’s disengagement to the lingering effects of last week’s argument. With relationships fraying, Tjay’s role as a mediator has become even more crucial, though it remains to be seen if he can turn his own luck around in the coming challenges.
The burden of misunderstanding
Chinwe’s diary session took a more emotional turn as she confessed to feeling alienated by her fellow housemates. Sunday’s events with Ebuka over her comment on sponsoring Zion has left her drained and vulnerable. Chinwe, with tears in her eyes, explained that her words had been taken out of context and misunderstood by both the housemates and Ebuka, leading to a noticeable shift in the way others interact with her.
She recounted the altercation with Chekas over missing cups during a sponsored task, which escalated when Chizoba openly criticised her, calling her rude. Chinwe’s frustration grew when Zion, whom she had reported the matter to, told her to apologise to Chizoba.
Biggie listened to Chinwe, advising her to look inwards and reflect on past events as “two wrongs don’t make a right”.
With each passing day and with the housemates’ true feelings and intentions coming to light, one thing is certain: the game is far from over.
